Savory breakfast burritos loaded with sausage, eggs, and cheese.
Sausage and Egg Breakfast Burritos
Ingredients:
-1 package of breakfast sausage
-4 large eggs
-1 cup of shredded cheese
-1/4 cup of diced red bell pepper
-1/4 cup of diced green bell pepper
-1/4 cup of diced onion
-1/4 cup of diced jalapeno peppers
-1 teaspoon of minced garlic
-1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
-1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
-1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-4 large burrito-sized flour tortillas
-1 tablespoon of oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
2. Place breakfast sausage in air fryer and cook for 8 minutes, turning halfway through, until sausage is cooked through.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cheese, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, jalapeno peppers, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Pour egg mixture into skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until eggs are cooked through and scramble.
6. Divide cooked sausage and scrambled eggs among the four tortillas.
7. Roll up each tortilla and place in the air fryer.
8. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tortillas are golden brown and crunchy.
9. Serve burritos warm with your favorite salsa, sour cream, and/or guacamole. Enjoy!
