Caramelized Onion Tart


Savory tart with a buttery crust and caramelized onion filling.

Caramelized Onion Tart Recipe

Ingredients:

-1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
-1 large sweet onion, sliced thinly
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
-1 teaspoon of sugar
-1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
-1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
-1 cup of crumbled feta cheese
-1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley

Instructions:

1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.

2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced onion, olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix until onions are evenly coated.

3. Place the puff pastry sheet in the air fryer basket (or on the air fryer tray, if your air fryer comes with one) and cook for 5 minutes.

4. Remove the puff pastry from the air fryer and spread the caramelized onions over the top.

5. Sprinkle the feta cheese and parsley over the top of the onions.

6. Place the tart back in the air fryer and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
