Apple Cinnamon Hand Pies

Apple Cinnamon Hand Pies

Ingredients:

-4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
-1/2 cup white sugar
-2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
-1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
-2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
-2 tablespoons butter, melted
-1 package (2 crusts) store-bought refrigerated pie crust

Instructions:

1. Preheat air fryer according to manufacturer’s instructions.

2. In a medium bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, and flour. Stir until all ingredients are combined.

3. Place the two refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and roll each one out with a rolling pin until they are 1/8 of an inch thick.

4. Cut each pie crust into 4 equal-sized circles.

5. Place 2 tablespoons of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.

6. Brush the edges of the circles with the melted butter.

7. Fold the edges of the circles together to form a hand pie. Use a fork to crimp the edges together.

8. Place the hand pies in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes at 360 degrees.

9. Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
