Air-Fried Donuts

Air-Fried Donuts


Soft and fluffy donuts with a delicious glazed or powdered sugar coating.

Ingredients:

-1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
-½ teaspoon baking powder
-¼ teaspoon baking soda
-¼ teaspoon salt
-2 tablespoons granulated sugar
-2 tablespoons melted butter
-½ cup buttermilk
-1 large egg
-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-Canola oil cooking spray
-¾ cup granulated sugar
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms.

5. In a shallow plate, mix together the ¾ cup of sugar and the teaspoon of cinnamon for the topping.

6. Spray the air fryer basket with the canola oil cooking spray.

7. Take a heaping tablespoon of the dough and form it into a ball. Roll the ball in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.

8. Place the dough ball in the air fryer basket. Repeat steps 7 and 8 with the rest of the dough.

9. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until the donuts are golden brown.

10. Remove the donuts from the air fryer and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
