Ingredients:
-4 tuna steaks, about 1-inch thick
-1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
-1/4 cup mirin
-1/4 cup sake
-2 tablespoons honey
-1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-4 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, sake, honey, ginger, garlic powder, sesame oil, and black pepper until combined.
2. Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Gently turn the steaks to coat them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
