
Ingredients:
-1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/4 cup honey
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup mirin
-2 tablespoons sake
-2 tablespoons rice vinegar
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-2 tablespoons canola oil
-4 slider buns
-1/2 cup mayonnaise
-1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
-1/4 cup sliced green onions
-1/4 cup sesame seeds
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, mirin, sake, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix until combined and set aside.
2. Heat the canola oil in an air fryer set to 375°F.
3. Add the chicken cubes to the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
4. Remove the basket from the air fryer and add the teriyaki sauce mixture. Stir to coat the chicken.
5. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, toast the slider buns in the oven or a toaster oven.
7. Assemble the sliders by spreading the mayonnaise on each bun, topping with the teriyaki chicken, green onions, and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
