Ingredients:
– 1 pint of freshly shucked oysters
– 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of paprika
– 1 teaspoon of sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
– 1/4 cup of buttermilk
– 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
– 1 tablespoon of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
3. In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and panko breadcrumbs.
4. In a third shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, melted butter, and olive oil.
5. Dip each oyster in the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk mixture, and finally into the Parmesan cheese mixture. Make sure each oyster is well coated in each of the three mixtures.
6. Place the coated oysters in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes.
7. Once cooked, remove the basket from the air fryer and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the oysters.
8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
