CHURRO BITES RECIPE
Ingredients:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1/2 cup whole milk
– 2 eggs
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and brown sugar.
2. In a medium bowl whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll them into small balls.
7. Place the dough balls into the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
8. Remove the churro bites from the air fryer and let cool.
9. In a medium bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
10. Roll the churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
11. Serve the churro bites warm. Enjoy!
