
Ingredients
– 2 lbs. chicken wings (or drumettes)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons paprika
– 2 teaspoons onion powder
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 2 teaspoons sea salt
– 2 teaspoons black pepper
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 2/3 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the wings.
3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and BBQ sauce.
5. When the chicken wings are done cooking, brush them with the BBQ sauce mixture.
6. Place the wings back in the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the wings are cooked through.
7. Serve the wings warm with extra BBQ sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and celery or carrot sticks on the side. Enjoy!
